Osteopathic Practitioner (D.O.M.P.) and Pilates Instructor
Natalie completed her D.O.M.P. at the Canadian School of Osteopathy. She originally graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, following her passion, however, she certified as an BASI Pilates Instructor and holds diplomas in Personal Training as well as Sports and Fitness Therapy. While running her own Pilates studio in the United Kingdom, Natalie gained a higher certificate in Osteopathic Studies from the British School of Osteopathy.
Natalie has always loved movement, and grew up enjoying field hockey, cycling and long distance running resulting in a back and hip injury. During her rehabilitation, Natalie quickly became fascinated with Clinical Pilates and Osteopathy and the human body’s natural ability to heal and maintain health.
Natalie understands the body’s complex interconnected relationships where restricted or impaired movement can lead to dysfunction or injury, and vice versa. Her aim is to look at the person as a whole ensuring that she is integrating the whole body into the treatment. Natalie helps to identify areas of pain and blockages that may be contributing to further problems by finding the source as opposed to treating just the symptoms. She provides unique treatment plans using a wide range of gentle non-invasive manual techniques for example; myofascial and visceral release, joint mobilization, and cranial sacral therapy.
Her work strives to help clients better understand their bodies to achieve optimal, pain free performance in daily life.
We can help you identify the cause of your dysfunction, as well as give you the guidance and support you need to improve your day to day life. We follow a non-invasive therapeutic approach, which uses unique treatment options with a wide range of gentle manual techniques, helping you to manage your pain and underlying conditions.
